Zoë Leonard - Players Rights Executive, the PCA

It was 2008 and England played Malawi in the third and final International Test Match at Wembley Arena. Mary Waya had just played a blinder for Malawi in her final international netball match and at the end of the game she stayed behind to sign a few autographs courtside. My friends and I ran from our seats to the merchandise stand, bought a deflated netball and snuck through the doors to the lower level seats to get it signed by her. She was the first 'famous' person I'd ever met and as a 16-year-old who was obsessed with playing netball I was absolutely buzzing about it. I still haven't blown up or used the ball since!
